As of February 1st 2012, Owens Corning is streamlining their Duration and Duration designer family of products from 4 to 2 shingle lines. The 2 lines will be called the Trudefinition Duration and Trudefinition Duration Designer.
The main points to look at are:
-a new fabric nailing strip, which enhances nail holding and keeps nails from passing through
-better adhesive sealant so shingles seal better
-triple layer protection
-new, lively colors
